Boxing as we know it was formed in the late 19th Century, but dates back about 300 years. Western Boxing uses the hands to expertly attack the upper body and focuses on mobility to outmaneuver your opponent.

Modern Muay Thai came about in the 1920’s. Muay Thai uses the bodies’ eight natural weapons (hands, elbows, knees, and feet) to strike any part of the body. The strength of Muay Thai is in the use of standing grappling to control your opponent while delivering elbow and knee strikes.
Submission Grappling came to the worlds stage in the 1990’s. It uses leverage to manipulate the opponent’s joints, applying body throws and chokes forcing the opponent into submission.

Mixed Martial Arts is known as the ultimate in combat sports. It is the premier; it makes use of all of the Martial Arts mention, to create the most completed system of unarmed combat.
